Isn’t it interesting how we always remember trips out with our parents?
Camping, Amusement Parks, Beaches, Cruises, Weekend Trips to Grandmas?
Kids don’t forget those times.
For some reason, family vacations seem to stay in the minds of people everywhere both children and adults.
So, is it the places we go, the things we do, or the people we are with?
Maybe it is all of the above.
Regardless- isn’t it nice to know that when we plan a trip with our children they will always remember something significant about it? (We hope it’s not th sunburn or poison ivy.)
But the fun things like water slides and ice cream shops.
Making s’mores and camping out.
Walking along the beach and collecting rocks.
Staying in a hotel or driving over the longest bridge they can remember.
Family time is priceless and summer is the perfect occasion to plan a vacation…even if it’s local.
Here are pictures from our 1st Annual Camping Trip last year and a special weekend to Catawba Island:
We went to the sandbars, Put-in-Bay, and we stayed at a friends condo. It was just for a weekend, but it was amazing!
Then we went camping where we rented a little cabin with bunk beds and went bike riding, swimming and cooked on the grill all week, and we just relaxed.
Truly,
Amber
