Last February I put out a family photo challenge. The goal was to turn some potentially gloomy days around and brighten them up through snapshots of our moments at home or outside in nature. I think this helps focus on the fun part of winter (cuddling, comfort food and cozy times with those we love).
Here's a photo of mine from last year’s challenge! I had fun doing this, and not just because I love taking pictures (and winter) but because it made me stop…once a day…and smell the roses….or the cool air, as our region would have it.
I invite you to join me in this year’s Family Matters February Photo Challenge.
Each day find something that fits the word listed and then share it here or on your social media site. Maybe you just want to use it as a screensaver on your phone, tablet or computer.
No matter what you do with the photos when you're done (I suggest turning them into an album) use them to refocus your attention on the beauty that is right in front of you rather than the weather which might be falling on you.
