Encouragement for Parents Struggling with Uncertainty and the New Norm During the Pandemic

Family Matters with Amber
Sometimes, just gotta sit still...and take a breath and find the good.

In my April column, What to Teach Kids in Times of Uncertainty, I shared my personal account of how I/we first reacted to (and accepted) the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. It wasn't easy, and it still isn't, as I'm sure everyone can agree.

There are going to be many things to learn from this experience, and in my column, I listed a few (probably a whole lot more than a few).

Now, in this article at NoSideBar.com, this parent shares some more of those realizations and purposefully axed expectations. Please read it, I know you will benefit from it...or at least be able to breathe afterward. I did.
